Description

  • FLIPSTOP® is designed to facilitate accurate measuring and to give consistently repeatable results
  • This makes it ideal for precision work as well as for volume production where speed of throughput and consistency are important
  • The principle benefits of our system are speed of set-up and reduced handling of components
  • Fast set-up is achieved by removing the process of measuring , marking and clamping a block of wood to a fence
  • This can often take more than 60 seconds
  • To position and lock one of our stops usually takes 5-8 seconds
  • Reduced handling is achieved by using the flip-over facility of each stop
  • For example, when drilling a cabinet door for 35mm concealed hinges, two stops can be used to drill both holes in the same handling operation
  • In this way FLIPSTOP can often reduce handling by 50%
  • A set comprises of one length of track, two stops, two self-adhesive measuring scales (one left/right, one right/left)
